About us
At the heart of Burrum Respite is our dedicated team of staff and volunteers, who are passionate about supporting older members of our community. Our team brings together experienced support workers, office staff and volunteers who genuinely go above and beyond where clients feel valued, safe and included. Their commitment ensures that every person who walks through our doors is treated with dignity, compassion and kindness
Since it's beginnings, the association has worked to create a welcoming, safe and inclusive social environment where older people can come together, form friendships and remain connected to their local community, Through its day respite programs and social activities, the centre provides opportunities for participants to enjoy outings, shared meals, games, and group activities in a supportive setting designed to promote wellbeing and independance.
